Holi is celebrated at the end of the winter season on the last full moon day of the lunar month Phalguna (February/March), (Phalgun Purnima)
On this day, all spiritual aspirants and devotees worship Vyasa in honor of
his divine personage and all disciples perform a 'puja' of their respective
spiritual preceptor or 'Gurudevs'.
Cultural significance of Holi
The most important Holi significance in the cultural aspect is that it
gives a driving force to people to demarcate the good and evil and wipe
off the evil from daily lives. It brings about a positive vibe and
gives the power to conquer the good. These cultural legends help people
to identify these things in their lives and lead a decent and truthful
life.
Social significance of Holi
This spring festival brings the society together and there is no
discrimination while celebrating this occasion. People from all strata
get involved in the joyous mood of the festival and follow the
traditions to get a true sense of the festival. During holi, people
