Pujya Sadhvi Ritambhara ji popularly known as Didi Maa is a very prominent Spiritual leader. She has great respect for Indian culture and preaches Hinduism. Sadhvi Ritambhara is the founder of Vatsalya Gram, a women's and children's village in India. The village is home to abandoned women and children who are put in to families with the goal of providing them with a loving and nurturing environment for progress. She also has worked towards women rights. Sadhvi Ritambhara thus is a Didi (an elder sister) as well as Maa (a mother) to the people. Her motherly affection has touched millions of hearts. As she believes every soul is a divine creation be it rich or poor and they have to fulfill the divine mission. She looks after and takes care of children in need and believes they are the future and we need to build a strong base with giving them all the necessities. Sadhvi Ritambharaji's speeches discourses have a great impact and she very beautifully through words brings out the essence of Hinduism and its preaching's.

Sadhvi Ritambhara ji became a Sadhvi under the inspiration of 'Pujya Acharya Maha Mandaleshwar Yugpurush Swami Parmanandji Maharaj'. Sadhvi Ritambhara ji always learnt about Indian scriptures and thought deep into spirituality. She has renounced the material comforts of even a normal household to serve the cause of humanity through evoking mother India's real spirit. Didi Maa is a living testimony of God within every human being. Her life is a remarkable combination of devotion to God and service to society. She believes “Service to humanity is service to God” and has devoted her life to the service of her country. Sadhvi Ritambhara ji is very humble in her ways, yet very strong and focused to look into the cause of the people’s sufferings and bring them out of the darkness by her motherly affection and care. She has actively involved in bringing several environmental and social changes in India ranging from advocating for a cleaner environment, maintaining and cleaning temples etc.

Sadhvi Ritambhara ji is a vibrant and powerful orator. Her discourses when people listen they feel blessed to have had the opportunity to be enlightened by her. Her words are simple but the impact is deep. She in few moments makes them feel like her family part. She is an excellent teacher and a loving guide who imparts her lessons not by words but through example of her own conduct. Millions of Indians throng to listen to her discourses which are thought evoking but at the same time chocked with emotions of love and Bhakti. Many times people listening to her discourses have wept and felt the magic the impact deep in their heart. Her tape recorded speeches are copied by millions. Two very popular Indian TV channels regularly relay her Parvachans. Her Guruji has called her a Tapa Siddha Sanyasin which means the one in whose own life time her tapa has borne fruit. He has also asked her to devote her energies to the welfare of humanity, under the inspiration, guidance and compassion of the great saint Pujya Acharya Mahamandleshwar Yugpurush Swami Parmanandji Maharaj,' her Sadgurudev.

Sadhvi Ritambhara ji vision, her goal, her dedication is towards a better world and a better life and preserving the ancient rich Indian heritage and culture. Her vision is not limited only to this aspect of human perils. She has given concepts such as Sanskar Vatika to train women missionaries for the spiritual development of the humanity, Kreedangan for physical and mental training, Gyanodaya and Gyanvardhini to enhance knowledge in best of Indian tradition, Arogya Vardhini for nature-cure, yoga, physical and moral training, Udyamika for Vocational training for self reliance, Nihsarg to develop nature care, Sanskarganga for ritual training Upvan for useful flora and fauna, Godham for developing cows and their progeny, Sanjivani for training to search medicinal plan.

Initially such Vatsalya Grams are being established at three places, the Holy City of Vrindaban (Mathura), U.P, Omkareshwar (MP) located on the banks of river Narmada and Solan (Himachal Pradesh). Sadhvi Ritambhara ji is now in the stages of building more Vatsalya Grams in different regions of India.

The Vatsalya Gram project is being undertaken by a recognized charitable society namely Param Shakti Peeth under the kind patronage of Pujya Yugpurush Shri Swami Parmanandji Maharaj. In each Vatsalya Gram, there are a number of Vatsalya families. Each Vatsalya family consists of 5 destitute girl babies, 2 destitute male babies, one mother, one mausi and a grand mother. There is no blood relationship in this Vatsalya Family but all of these relations are interlocked with emotional feelings created out of inspirations of the great motherhood of Maa Yashoda, the mother of Lord Krishna who had not given birth to the Lord but had given such an affection that made him Yogeshwar. The Vatsalya Gram is an alternate to the concept of Orphanage and the young women’s shelter and the old women’s home where everybody lives aimlessly. She has established Vatsalya Grams to maintain educate and make them useful members of the society.

Sadhvi Ritambhara ji unflinching determination on the project of Vatsalya Gram has made it possible to envision a potential for Vatsalya Gram’s replication in many parts of India and other developing countries. Her speeches are soul stirring. Sadhvi Ritambhara ji is devoutly spiritual and observes a strict code of conduct based on Dharma. Sadhvi Ritambhara ji has immense inner strength which we may say is like Shakti of the Goddess. She makes no demands or attempts to enforce her views or beliefs on others. She mesmerizes the audience as she speaks like a divine mother whether it is giving details of her Vatsalya Gram or about national pride or about the scriptures.
